He started playing in the Lavazza team at 19; in the meanwhile, he was working as software developer in a company. In 1990, Italo Santià proposed him as permanent member of the team and he fully joined the crew. He played with Norberto Bocchi, Antonio Sementa and Zia Mahmood in the United States. His new partner is the young Danish talent Dennis Bilde.
Giorgino loves developing bridge conventions and is constantly thinking about bidding sequences.

In his amazing career he won every single possible title.
He his member of the WBF Executive Council and of the WBF High Level Players Commission.
